One More Week!
Only one week until the ultrasound.
I had an epiphany last night while talking to Elissa. She asked if I had any food cravings and I said no. But I did with Rachel. Hmmm... does this mean I'm carrying a different sex in my belly?
I'm a LOT more tired this time around... but I didn't have a toddler last time around. And I wasn't exercising or working. Those are energy zappers fer sure! :)
If it's a boy: Jack Alexander. I'm pretty sure. Jack after my dad and Alexander in honor of Duncan's paternal grandfather whose birth name was Alec.
If it's a boy: The family name continues. The only other male of child bearing age in the county (Duncan's father's second cousin) is done having children as far as I know. He has two girls. Name Rachel and Sarah. (Isn't that funny?)
If it's a boy: Duncan gets a son. That is a special thing, the father/son relationship. Duncan gets to teach boy things to his boy. :)
If it's a boy: We get one of each. Then we're probably done.
If it's a girl: We were thinking Rebecca, but now I'm not so sure. I'm not a big fan of same initial sibling names. But at the moment I can't think of anything better. I'll worry more about that on Monday if I have to. :)
If it's a girl: Rachel gets a sister. Something I never had and always wanted. And my dream is for them to be best friends, not rivals.
If it's a girl: We get our girls. We are so in love with our daughter that we will be excited to have another one. Even though she will be different, no doubt, we know girl stuff. So hopefully that experience will help! And I get to dress them up like I've seen Heather and Katie do with their girls. They will be too cute for words.
If it's a girl: Duncan will be further outnumbered. But he won't mind. And maybe we'll be done... or maybe not. But we're still quite a few years from thinking about that one!

FYI: Corey is a good name for a boy or a girl. ;)

Dressing them alike is SO FUN! But watching them play & giggle together is even more fun!

Me again - if you aren't in love with Rebecca (and it IS a girl), try this work - The Baby Name Wizard by Laura Wattenberg. It shows all the names that go with your current child's name...its so cool!!
